These terms govern your use of visa-checker.descles.com (the "Service"), operated by Descles ("we", "us"). By purchasing or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Software that runs in your browser and works on documents you already have: it fills the immigration forms you select with the answers you type, and it checks those documents against each other — where two files disagree, what a form marks as required and you left empty, what still needs your signature. It also reads the document checklist you provide to work out which forms you need.

2. What the Service is not

We are not a law firm, an immigration consultancy, or a government body. We are not affiliated with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), any embassy, or any other government authority, and we are not endorsed by them. The Service gives no legal or immigration advice, does not review your eligibility, and cannot influence or guarantee any decision. Every decision is the officer's, and no tool changes that. If you need advice about your situation, consult a licensed professional.

3. Your responsibilities

• The answers are yours. The Service places the values you give it into the forms; it does not verify them against reality. Read the report, check the values, and satisfy yourself that each one is correct and complete before you submit anything.
• Signatures are yours. The Service never signs anything. Signing a form is your legal act.
• You submit to IRCC yourself. We do not file anything, and we never receive your application.

4. Price, payment, and delivery

The Service is a one-time purchase; the price is shown on the pricing page in US dollars, before any sales tax that applies where you are. Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake as Merchant of Record — Waffo is the seller on your receipt and handles billing, tax, and refunds at our instruction. Delivery is immediate: the tools unlock in the browser that made the purchase, and you can unlock another browser with the reference on your receipt.

5. Refunds

Covered by our refund policy: 14 days, for any reason, on request.

6. Acceptable use

Use the Service for your own application, or for one you are helping someone with. Do not resell it, do not share an unlock reference publicly, do not attempt to circumvent the payment step, and do not use it to submit information you know to be false to a government authority.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or withdraw the Service, and may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Because the Service runs in your browser, an outage of our site does not affect a package you have already downloaded.

8. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from a decision made on your application by any authority, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Intellectual property

The Service and its content are ours. Official immigration forms belong to their publisher and are used by you under their terms; we do not distribute them and you obtain them yourself. The reports and packages produced from your own answers are yours.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator carries on business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute.
